Marcus Fisher, of Uncasville, was arrested Monday by Connecticut State Police after Montville police discovered the two bodies inside a Morgan Street home, said the state police.
After the discovery of the bodies, state police detectives from the Eastern District Major Crimes Unit responded and assumed investigative responsibilities for the case.
Fisher, who was reportedly waiting for police to arrive, was interviewed by detectives and later confessed to the murders, state police said.
Police have not identified the deceased.
He is being held on $1 million bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Tuesday.
